1. The Azrieli Teaching Fellowship for Excellence in Testimony-based Pedagogy

The Division of Academic Programs and the Division of Education at the USC Shoah Foundation invite applications for their inaugural Azrieli Teaching Fellowship for Excellence in Testimony-based Pedagogy for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Two educators from Canadian schools, colleges, or universities will be chosen as fellows to conduct testimony-based research for one year in the USC Shoah Foundation’s Visual History Archive (VHA) which holds over 55,000 video testimonies of survivors and witnesses of the Holocaust and other genocides. The fellows will specifically and intentionally work with testimonies within the Azrieli Foundation Holocaust Survivors Memoirs Collection to develop localized innovative testimony-based resources to be integrated into a new or existing course/s.

3. National Survey on the State of Holocaust and Genocide Education in Canadian Secondary Schools

The Association for Canadian Studies in partnership with the Foundation for Genocide Education  are calling on teachers to complete our national survey on the state of Holocaust and genocide education in Canadian secondary schools.  You will be eligible to receive one of 10 randomly drawn gift cards ($250 each) for school supplies or educational materials. All responses are confidential.
