Many teachers are already aware of the 200+ teaching resources available for free from the Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN). But in these unprecedented times, with students and teachers grappling with the demands of remote learning to maintain physical distancing, not all of these are as suitable for online delivery as others. In an effort to provide educators with materials that will help them to provide meaningful engagement to online learners, OJEN is building a special collection of resources to support remote learning. Check it out for teaching resources that support law classes, as well as civics, careers and social science courses that address law, justice and society.
In addition to OJEN’s own resources, our Educator Support department is finding and posting great resources and ideas from other organizations working in the areas of law and justice that might help to engage students. This section will be updated regularly, so please visit us and be sure to check out what’s in the weekly spotlight!
