On Friday April 22, the Ministry released the revised Grade 10 Civics and Citizenship Course, found within The Ontario Curriculum, Grades 9 and 10: Canada and World Studies, 2018.

We are very excited to announce a partnership with the ministry to ensure Ontario educators have access to a variety of supports throughout the 2022-2023 school year. OHASSTA will be developing resources over the next year for Civics teachers including curriculum supports, a teacher mentorship program, and supports for experiential learning in the Civics and Citizenship classroom.

We are looking for enthusiastic Civics and Citizenship teachers to get involved!

Are you interested in writing, reviewing, or providing assessment expertise as part of the development of curriculum resources? Apply for any one of the positions available by reviewing the responsibilities here and following the instructions.

This is only the beginning! Make sure you are following us on Twitter, Facebook and visiting our website regularly for more opportunities in the coming year!
