Congratulations to OHASSTA member, Ian Duncan who’s “the Historytellers Project” was recognized by Canada’s History for the 2025 Governor General’s History Award for Excellence in Teaching.
His project empowered Grade 10 students to research and share Canada’s often-overlooked 2SLGBTQ+ histories through a collaboration with The ArQuives: Canada’s LGBTQ2+ Archive.
