Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame’s Education Department is hosting a free, livestreamed education event for Grades 3-12 called Play to Lead. On November 27, the 45-minute panel event will explore how Hall of Famers have translated values like teamwork, leadership, and resilience into careers in public service and government. This event aligns closely with Social Studies, Civics, and Leadership curricula across Canada.
The panel will include:
- The Honourable Adam van Koeverden – MP and Olympic Champion
- The Honourable Marnie McBean – Senator and Olympic Champion
- The Honourable Chantal Petitclerc – Senator and Paralympic Champion
- Michelle Stilwell – Former MLA and Paralympic Champion
