In a world of STEM based learning, the Social Sciences and Humanities sometimes get short shrift. This workshop will provide a model for STEM based learning in a Social Science context with a focus on the preeminent 21 century skills that the Humanities and Liberal Arts provide and which employers demand. Participants will be provided with an example of a summative task from the HSE4M course with all of the scaffolding and assessment pieces that could easily be adapted to a variety of Social Science courses/ units.
