Policing and Society

This workshop highlights OJEN’s classroom resource on policing, with interactive activities on the responsibilities of the police and police discretion. Participants receive training on teaching controversial aspects of policing and police oversight to strengthen student understanding of the role police play in society and their rights when dealing with police.
