Legislative Assimilation: The Indian Act

The Indian Act has been impacting the lives of First Nations people for 140 years. In this session, participants will learn about the effects of the Indian Act on First Nations peoples and communities, and participate in a simulation activity to develop a deeper understanding of how it works to divide Aboriginal peoples.
