Is the Library History?

More than just books and computers, the library/learning commons has the potential to become an experiential learning space within the school. This workshop will explore how collaboration between teachers and teacher librarians can be used to enhance the Canadian and World Studies, Social Science and Native Studies curriculum while encouraging the use of the inquiry process. Participants will be provided with lesson ideas, sample assignments, and ideas for easy to implement initiatives which have students using both traditional library sources and new technologies in their learning.
