Til Death Do Us Part: Segregated and Forgotten Graveyards in Southern Ontario

Many forgotten and marginalized histories lay buried in abandoned graveyards often close to Ontario schools. This workshop will focus on cemeteries in southern Ontario that have recently been discovered and restored. Participants will be invited to consider how to engage students in inquiry using primary sources and explorations that challenge how society has remembered and cared for its past.
