A Fresh Look at Korea with the Canadian Curriculum

Saturday, November 2 · 2:45 pm–4:00 pm · 230

Presenter

Erin Williams

The global popularity of Korean culture is on the rise and it doesn’t look like it’s about to slow down any time soon! But Canadians are still limited in what they learn about Korea in schools. The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea are proud co-host a workshop to provide teachers with fresh ideas and materials for teaching about Korea. While reviewing the current state of Korea in curriculums, we’ll offer sample materials on topics such as modern Korean economic development, Korean reunification scenarios, the Korean pop culture wave, and more!
